another fairytale..

among a bunch of things happening at the just-finished london fashion week, besides fashion shows and front rows, there were a few of them which stood out. when jefferson hack throws a party you know it won't be conventional nor stereotypical just like the magazines he's running. inspired by a classic fairytale - alice in wonderland, the release party for AnOther magazine's 25th issue was hosted by 25 of london's it faces. the rest of them through the looking glass.

eating cherries is even more sweeter after you've picked them on your own climbing up the tree..

this may seem like a pretty boring post, but sundays are like that, beautiful in their easyness and boringness. all you need is a cup of your favorite tea, easy literature and hopefully electricity blackout so you're not tempted to turn on your laptop, tv or other unnecessary devices.  

the candles from my other birthday cake make such a great decoration that i've decided not to throw them away yet. sophie dahl's first novel is one of the books/souvenirs i brought back from london a few months ago. i haven't read it yet, it's on the pile that waits long, worryless summer days..

anOther man..

although it's being released only two times a year, i find myself casually skimming over the same issue of anOther magazine every time i come for my regular updates at a local news-stand/bookstore..so, aside from nylon and dazed&confused, it's becoming one of my favorite magazines lately (that jefferson hack guy surely knows how to run a paper, ha-ha)..anyway, here's an editorial from the last s/s man issue shot by (also one of my favorites) hedi slimane..
